MIDDLETON - Donna J. Griffin, age 72, passed away on Friday, Feb. 28, 2003, at Middleton Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on Sept. 15, 1930, in Madison, the daughter of the late Henry and Louise (Larson) Foss. Donna was a 1948 graduate from Madison East High School. She married Richard Griffin on Aug. 6, 1955, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Madison. Donna worked with the VA Hospital in the lab until retiring in 1996. She had a variety of interests, including bowling, but enjoyed most the time she was able to spend with her family. In addition to her husband of 47 years, Richard, survivors include her daughters, Susan (Tom) Christiansen of North Padre Island, Texas, Sandy (Troy) Brazier of Omaha, Neb., and Sally Haluzak of Cottage Grove, Minn.; five grandchildren, Barbara, Lynda, Brett, Laura and Riley; her sisters, Marilyn (Roger) Clark and Joan (Jim) Soderholm, all of Madison; her brother, Darrell (Joann) Foss of DeForest; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave., (near Parmenter Street), Middleton, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2003. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services on Thursday at the funeral home.
