
OCONOMOWOC/MADISON - Richard A. Parker, age 72, of Oconomowoc, died on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003. He was born in Madison on Nov. 14, 1930, the son of Dean R. and Arline (Severson) Parker. Richard graduated from Madison East High School in 1948 and the University of Wisconsin in 1958. He served his country during the Korean War. He retired as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Blunt, Ellis & Loewi, in 1990. He was a member of the Classic Car Club of America and the American Legion. Richard is survived by his wife, Loree; and his children, Kathleen Parker, Madison, and her children Anthony and Timothy Berceau; Eileen (Phillip) McConnell, Waterloo, and her children Jodi and Joshua Schultze and Phillip McConnell Jr.; Elizabeth Parker, Madison and her children Alexander and Elijah Dunn; William (Barbara) Parker, Oconomowoc, and his children Benjamin and Brandon Parker, Jon Parker, Miami Beach, Fla., and James Parker, Chandler, Ariz. He is also survived by two brothers, Monty (Carolyn) Parker, Delafield, and Peter Parker, West Allis; and two sisters, Morlynn (Frederick) Frankey, Madison, and Nancy Parker, Marshall; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife, Arlene (Landsness) Parker. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003, at 11 a.m. at HOLY CROSS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2670 Milwaukee St., Madison. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003 from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison.
